Come participate in community live music gatherings every Summer Solstice (June 21st) & the Winter Solstice (December 21st). Salado Music Friendly Board, We Are Music Salado, & Make Music Alliance have collaborated to bring family friendly community live music events to Salado’s “Historic Music Mile” (Main Street). No musical talented needed! Just bring your excitement and smiles! We encourage the young and old, musically talented and rhythmically challenged to participate. It’s not how good you are playing a instrument, it’s how much fun you can create with the people in your community! Salado’s Music Friendly Community Board hosts large events each year and provides free instruments for participants. Come celebrate music with people from all across the globe!

Come join us at 6:00 PM on Thursday, May 8th for our latest edition of our Chords & Connections networking series at Solas Gallery in Salado. Our May event, An Evening With Zack Owen, is one that you will not want to miss. Mr. Owen is a radio icon in Texas with just under 50 years on the air, including 32 years in Waco. Zack Owen currently hosts the Zack Owen Show on YouTube TV, LIVE from The Backyard Bar, Stage, and Grill. Additionally, Mr. Owen is also an agent with Weichert Realtors of The Eastland Group. If you've ever wanted to pick the brain of a radio icon, now is your opportunity to do so. This is a MUST ATTEND event if you're an artist looking to gain experience, increase your reach, or just learn some of the to-do's and don't-do's of the radio world. As always, there will be a jam session afterward so please bring your instrument(s) and gear with you! Volunteer Day at Tablerock

​Tablerock is in need of volunteers to help clean-up and organize for our upcoming Trash to Treasure event. Join us as we sort, tidy, and prepare old items for new life. Whether you can lend a hand for an hour or a day, your help makes a difference! UPCOMING VOLUNTEER DAYS APRIL 26th @ Tablerock Amphitheater from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM MAY 3rd @ Tablerock Amphitheater from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM MAY 10th @ Tablerock Amphitheater from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM This is a great opportunity for local high schoolers to earn community service hours and college scholarships! All Junior High and High School students can receive community service hours, and high school seniors and juniors who participate who volunteer will be eligible to apply for a scholarship from Tablerock. From cleaning and sort to hauling or even sorting and scanning files, we've got more than enough work to help you reach your community service hour goals and requirements.
