In 2016 the galleries and businesses on the south end of Salado, each with their own unmistakable vibe, came together to create RAW – the Royal Street Art Walk. From February to October, on the fourth Friday of each month, Royal Street comes to life from 6pm-9pm for an engaging visual arts experience that is focused on highlighting the quality, edge and diversity of artistic talents you can only find in Salado.

Johnny’s started as an unassuming restaurant alongside Interstate 35 and has morphed into one of Salado’s most prized landmarks.
