What inspires you? Here in Salado, we’ve been thinking about that a lot lately. As we enter into 2020, you may be making New Year’s resolutions or thinking about the ones you attempted in 2019. It’s easy to focus on concrete goals, like losing a few pounds or finding a new job, but we’d like to challenge you to think deeper about what motivates you and brings you joy. Maybe it’s family, travel, or professional success. Here in Salado, some of the things that inspire us are the natural beauty of our creek, the endless creativity of our artists, the inventiveness and drive of our small business owners, and the warmth of our community. We love to see creative talents putting their skills to work in new ventures, watch community members unite for great causes, or simply witness long-established events continue to take on new life and energy. There is a lot to be inspired by in Salado, and if you’ve spent any time here, we bet you’ve felt it too.
