Central Texas’ favorite outdoor musical drama, Legends of Salado will be held July 23- 24, 30-31, and August 6-7.
Salado Legends was researched and written by Jackie Mills, a playwright/lyricist, and children’s book author, and directed by Donnie Williams. The play was ensconced in the Library of Congress for depicting life in the 1850’s. Mills received the National Mark R. Sumner Award from the Institute of Outdoor Drama in New York City “for creating Salado Legends, playing a major role in drama, and making a noteworthy impact on the Outdoor Drama Movement.”
Dinner and show packages are available and reservations are required. Dinner will be served at 7:15pm, and tickets are $33.00 for adults and $18.00 for children, and must be purchased in advance.
The show begins at 8:15 and show admission is $20.00 per adult and $5.00 per child. Concessions and gate open at 7:30.
