Tablerock Festival of Salado Presents the 2023 Animal Tales Anthology and Tablerock Poetry Festival, Dedicated to Jackie and Denver Mills.

Featuring the launch of the 2023 Animal Tales Anthology, with Texas National and International Poets represented. Join with our host, Thom Woodruff, Beat Poet Laureate of Texas. Thom has positive ties to the Salado community which include convening poetry workshops, school performances at Salado High School, and playing Edgar Allen Poe for Fright Trail.

A feature performance by Sandi Horton will give the audience a special gift of music and poetry, as she will read her animal poetry and play native flute songs. In addition Salado’s own Poet Laureate, Patsy Sanford will read. Many exceptional poets from Salado, Georgetown, Temple, Austin and all points Texas will share their original works. Some poets will even have musical accompaniment.

This is a unique LIVE outdoor presentation, but will move indoors if weather does not cooperate.
